Welcome
Welcome to the Perfect Marriage! This course is solely focused on Power and Duo. I believe these two plays are such a good compliment to each other that they belong together. So that is how we came up with the Perfect Marriage!
Power and Duo have been around for a long time. This is PHYSICAL RUN at its best. This run game focuses on physical DOUBLE TEAMS at the POA. We have utilized several different versions in games such as 2-back power, QB Run Power, QB Power Read, Big Power, and play-action. In the recent years we have studied teams that run Power and Duo at a high level. As for Duo, I feel if we knew then what we know now it would have been our highest volume play call. Duo is Power without the pullers. That is exactly how we teach it as well as some other keys.
This course has 20 Chapters of Power and Duo, Cut-Ups, Adjustments, and much more.
This course will help you take your PHYSICAL RUN GAME to the NEXT LEVEL!
Base elements of power and duo
💪 Power is "GOD's" Play and is meant to be PHYSICAL! There is a frontside DOUBLE TEAM, KICKOUT, and a PULLER from backside to frontside for the LB.
Double Team
Power is a GAP play but is meant to have a frontside double team to BSLB.
Kickout
The Kickout is meant to open up the hole for the puller. (Other variations apply)
Puller
The backside guard is the puller and uses a skip pull technique to FS LB.
💪 DUO Is and excellent compliment/partner to POWER. It is basically Power without the pullers. It is a "MUSCLE" play that is meant to have physical double teams on the line of scrimmage to the 2nd level.
Frontside Double Team
DUO is about having a frontside double teams across the line to the backside.
Kickout
The Kickout is meant to open up the hole to create a vertical run lane for the RB.
Backside
DUO has "double teams" across the line of scrimmage and is ruled out based on the front.
